Spring Offering: Learn knife skills to make a boat

In this two-day workshop, your child will learn whittling and carving skills from a skilled Hard Materials/ Carpentry Teacher, Gunther Hammer who has over twenty years of experience.   Over the course of the two days, your child will build on from their knowledge to create a small boat, as well as time to explore the beautiful Maanaki Mai area with games, free play and wanderings.

Age:  9 - 14-year-olds

Time: 9 – 3pm

Location: Maanaki Mai, Purau 

Cost: $140 (we will supply the knives).  

Limited to 12 spaces only.

Note: Please circulate to friends. This event will not go ahead if we do not have 8 participants. If that occurs, you will be refunded in full, minus a $5 website transaction fee.
