Little Guardians in the bush

Come along to experience our Little Guardians Programme where we turn our attention to life on an organic farm on the edge of Whakaraupō, and close to a delightful forest grove.  In a mixture of free play, exploration and small group structured activities (that meet the NZ curriculum), we will learn about the animals and the local plants that live in this ecosystem.  We will also build awareness and sensory acuteness, self-care, quiet mind and empathy. Students will have the opportunity to nurture their connection to the land, learn real-life skills and in time, allow them to feel at home in the natural world. 

Age:  4.5 - 7 years old

Price:  See ticket prices  (+ daily OB Fees, if you visit the park afterwards)

Dates: 17th, 24th February; 3th, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st March; 7th and 14th April. 

Other information: 

Welcome morning tea on the 17th of February, 10 - 11.30 am (with parents)

Celebration shared-picnic and giving back to the farm on the 14th of April, 12.30 pm (with parents)

If you visit Orton Bradley Park, while you wait for your child/ren, please do bring cash to pay the OB Fees.
